"Okay"

This bird proudly displays its baby blue coat and vibrant yellow cap, almost as if it knows it is by far the best-dressed member of its species. Video of this magnificent blue bird is available at the end of the article.

One of these birds of stunning beauty is the golden-crowned tanager. Its head and neck are jet black, and most of its body is a giant cobalt blue, with a bright yellow crown as an exception. Additionally, it has black feathers on its blue tail and yellow feathers on its rump.

A member of the bird family Thraupidae is the golden-crowned tanager. Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela are his countries of origin. These birds mainly consume seeds, fruits, nectar and floral components as food. They hunt insects because they are an omnivorous species. They are distributed on opposite sides of the Peruvian Maraon Valley. They are frequently found in moist upland forests in the subtropics and/or tropics.

Males display their brightest feathers to potential mates and protect males during the breeding season, which lasts from March to June in temperate locations. A clutch of up to five eggs is laid in a nest that the female builds in an area with dense foliage. the male steps in once the eggs have hatched to help feed the young. She is the only one who incubates the eggs.

Despite being common in its native region, this bird is listed on the IUCN Red List as being of minor importance due to the size of its distribution. Introduce these golden-crowned tanagers to your family and acquaintances if you fall in love with their sky blue, bright yellow, and jet black plumage. Nature is redeemed.
